According to the conditions of the MoU, the emphasis will be primarily on the growth of grassroots football, with thorough training programs for coaches and referees at the forefront.

In order to ensure gender equality in the sport, the partnership also strives to encourage the growth of women’s football at the local and regional levels.

Following a meeting in Sydney, Australia—which took place during the FIFA Women’s World Cup final—the parties signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
