At the Zim Afro T10, the teams that would advance to the knockout rounds were finally determined. The Qalandars defeated the Bulawayo Braves, and the Buffaloes secured their spot in the playoffs by thrashing the Harare Hurricanes.
Batting first, Durban experienced an early stumble and was unable to escape the danger they had placed themselves in until the partnership of George Linde and Asif Ali came to their aid. The Qalandars posted 105 on the board while riding high on the two. With statistics of 3/20, Taskin Ahmed produced an absolute masterclass.
The Braves could only manage 96 in response to Durban as Tendai Chatara crippled them with figures of 3/9. This is despite a fantastic performance by Beau Webster and a solid performance from the captain, Sikandar Raza.
The Harare Hurricanes, on the other hand, were no match for the Buffaloes, who were able to contain their opponents to 81 thanks to their combined ball skills. The combination of Tom Banton and Will Smeed guided the Buffaloes to a nine-wicket victory despite their captain falling for a pitiful seven.
