After scoring his eagerly anticipated sixth IPL century on Thursday against SunRisers Hyderabad, Virat Kohli displayed his true mettle. In just 62 balls, the elegant opener hit the triple digits, leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore to an eight-wicket triumph in their pursuit of 187. For his scorching knock, Kohli garnered a lot of appreciation from the crowd and past cricketers. Suryakumar Yadav, a Mumbai Indians hitter who had previously scored a century, made one wish, though, and it captured the hearts of many.

Suryakumar yadav posted a photo of Kohli’s century celebration on Instagram with the caption “Maanla Re Bhauu.”

Notably, after hitting a ton against the Gujarat Titans, the RCB batter also thanked Surya on his Instagram story.

In the game, Heinrich Klaasen demonstrated his brilliance with the bat, smashing six sixes and eight fours in his dazzling 51-ball 104-run knock to take SRH from 28 for 2 to 186 for five in the fifth over.
The 172-run opening stand between Kohli (100) and du Plessis (71), the highest partnership of the season, helped RCB chase down the goal as they romped home with four balls to spare. However, Kohli had other intentions.

Despite being level with Mumbai Indians on 14 points after the win, RCB moved up to fourth place thanks to their improved net run rate. However, they will need to win their following game in order to remain competitive, as Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings both have 15 points with one game remaining.

In his 63-ball innings, Kohli struck four maximums and 12 fours, and in his 47-ball innings, du Plessis smashed seven fours and two sixes. The two bowled a chasing masterclass.
