Players Who Were Completely Dropped From BCCI Central Contracts

BCCI-List

The lengthy list of players who have been given the “Central Contract” for the 2022–2023 season was released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who received the A+ contract for his performances in various formats, was one of the biggest winners in the event. KL Rahul was demoted noticeably from position A to position B. However, there were a few individuals who were totally overlooked in the list.

Although Deepak Chahar continues to be regarded as a great talent, his injury problems have stopped him from playing a significant role in India’s pace attack. Hanuma Vihari, a key member of India’s Test squad, also appears to be falling down the list of priorities right now.

Deepak Hooda, KS Bharat, and Arshdeep Singh are a few names who have earned a well-deserved spot in the Grade C category on the current list. But Shikhar Dhawan, another unexpected name, is still there.

The Indian team’s opening batsman, who only played ODIs, appears to have lost his spot to Shubman Gill. However, the fact that he is still listed in the Grade C category indicates that the BCCI still considers him relevant.
