The apt response to Irfan Pathan’s praise from Gautam Gambhir was “Can’t Take Cricket Out Of…”

In the fourth game of the ongoing Legends League Cricket, Tuesday saw Robin Uthappa and Gautam Gambhir at the peak of their games as India Maharajas defeated Asia Lions by a score of 10 wickets. The pair scored an impressive 159-run opening stand to win convincingly at the Asian Town Cricket Stadium in Qatar. Uthappa’s unbroken 88 off 39 balls, which included 11 boundaries and five sixes, and Gambhir’s unbeaten 61 off 36 balls, which included 12 boundaries, were the opening pair’s contributions that ignited the cricket field.

Irfan Pathan, a member of the Asia Lions and a former colleague of the duo from India, was impressed by the pair’s batting and commended them for their power and consistency.

India Maharajas, who chose to field first, had held Asia Lions to 157 for 5 in 20 overs. With 45 balls remaining, the India Maharajas won the game.
