The stalwart attacker, who most recently helped Argentina win the FIFA World Cup, is close to accomplishing a legendary feat in his club career. Messi, who has now scored 699 goals in club football as a professional, is just one goal away from joining the 700-goal club, which currently only has Cristiano Ronaldo as a member.
