Rahul Dravid, the head coach of Team India, has taken a flight back to Bengaluru after being ill. He  was not feeling well all day Thursday but chose to stay with the team for the second One-Day International against Sri Lanka in Kolkata, which India won by four wickets to take a commanding 2-0 series lead.

In the second game, the bowlers joined the fun by reducing Sri Lanka to a score below par. By taking three wickets each, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj shone well.

India lost a number of wickets early, making the pursuit a difficult one. In order to lead the squad home, KL Rahul calmed the ship and smashed an undefeated half-century.
He took a 3 a.m. flight back home on Friday and won’t be available for the third ODI in Thiruvananthapuram.

After scoring more than 370 runs in the opening game of the series at Guwahati, with Virat Kohli smashing his 45th century, India easily won the match.
