In the first Test against Bangladesh, Rishabh Pant sets two significant records.

In the opening match against Bangladesh on Day 1, Rishabh Pant demonstrated his abilities as Rishabh Pant in Test cricket. Pant, who entered at number five, assisted India’s response by scoring 46 runs in as many deliveries before being struck out by Mehidy Hasan.

When Pant entered the game, the side was in trouble at 48/3 and had recently lost Virat Kohli, who had scored just one run in five pitches. After lunch, Pant launched a sustained counterattack in which he struck six boundaries and two sixes.

After his 4,000 run knock against Bangladesh, Pant reached the 4000-run mark in international cricket. Pant has scored 2169 runs in 54 innings of Test cricket, including 10 fifties and 5 hundreds. He has a strike rate of 73.10 and an average of 43.48.

Well, Pant would be the one to know about this record. He enjoys smashing the ball out of the park and is the third player overall and second quickest Indian to score the fastest 50 sixes in Test cricket.
