Former England Star Andrew Flintoff Injured In Top Gear Car Accident

Legendary English cricketer Andrew Flintoff was transported to the hospital following an incident while filming for the hit BBC television program “Top Gear,” according to British media reports. According to the BBC news website, the 45-year-old received medical attention on the spot before being taken to the hospital. It was also stated that his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. At the program’s test track at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome, south of London, the incident took place on Tuesday.

Before retiring from cricket at the age of 32, Flintoff, a renowned all-arounder commonly known as “Freddie,” played 79 Tests for England.

He later pursued a career in television, co-presenting the popular automobile show Top Gear among other shows.

According to the BBC and Sky, a BBC representative stated, “Freddie was wounded in an accident at the Top Gear test track this morning (Tuesday), with crew medics visiting the scene immediately.”
