Yuvraj Singh Receives Birthday Wishes from the Indian Cricket Fraternity

Yuvraj Singh, a former all-rounder for India, celebrated his 41st birthday on Monday, and the cricketing community in India posted birthday wishes to him on social media. Yuvraj confirmed his retirement from all facets of cricket in 2019. He scored 8,701 runs in 304 ODIs, averaging an astounding 36.55, including 14 hundreds. Yuvraj established himself as a player who could win matches for his team by either his electric fielding, ferocious batting, or shrewd bowling over a career that spanned over 304 ODIs, 58 T20Is, and 40 Tests.

Virat Kohli, a former captain of India, remarked on Instagram, “May God bless you abundantly.”

The nation’s cricket governing body, BCCI, sent well wishes to the celebrity on Twitter.

“148 wickets, 17 tons, 11778 runs, in 402 international games. Happy birthday to the iconic @YUVSTRONG12, a former all-rounder for #TeamIndia and winner of the ICC World T20 Championship and ICC World Cup “Tweets from BCCI.

The 38-year-old made history in 2011 by becoming the first all-rounder to score over 300 runs and take 15 wickets in a single World Cup. He was also outstanding in India’s victory at that tournament. Four Man of the Match accolades and the Man of the Tournament award for 362 runs and 15 wickets were part of the accomplishment.
