After an inspiring victory over Australia in the second T20I, the Indian women's team runs the victory lap.

Following their triumph over the Australian women’s team in the second T20, Harmanpreet Kaur & Co. ran the victory lap. When the scores of the two teams were equal, the game entered Super Over.

The second T20I’s exciting victory by India against Australia generated a lot of attention on social media. Harmanpreet Kaur and company had a great performance in front of almost 47,000 spectators at the DY Patil Sports Academy, first matching Australia’s score of 187 runs and then defeating them in the Super Over. The Indian eves ran a victory lap while carrying the national flag after limiting the tourists to a score of 16 in the one-over eliminator.

Before both sides tied at 187, Smriti Mandhana’s 79 off 49 balls helped the Indian women almost achieve their highest-ever chase. Mandhana added 13 more points in the Super Over to secure the victory.

Mandhana claimed that even a year ago, she would not have imagined that the side would be able to chase down 45 or so runs off of 25 balls.
