Invasion of privacy at the Perth team hotel is something Virat Kohli finds it Not Good at All.

Virat Kohli was unhappy when video from his hotel room was recorded and posted on social media. When India was stationed in Perth for their training camp and matches leading up to the T20 World Cup, Virat Kohli reported a breach of privacy at his hotel room.

On October 31st the day after India had played South Africa on the final day of their Perth leg of the tournament. Kohli reveal the specifics of the breach in a video posted on his Instagram page.

Virat Kohli Stated that on his Instagram post.

“I understand that fans get very happy and excited seeing their favourite players and get excited to meet them and I’ve always appreciated that,” Kohli wrote in his post on Instagram. “But this video here is appalling and it’s made me feel very paranoid about my privacy. If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all?? I’m NOT okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy. Please respect people’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment.”

The act has now been apologized for by the hotel, Crown Towers, which further stated that “the individuals responsible have been stood down and suspended from the Hotel.”
